What is the difference between a "Phase" and a "Snap"?

Phases and Snaps are both types of Key Moments.

A Key Moment is a short burst or long period of emotional stimulation that is of interest for the particular experience.

Think of a Snap as a snapshot of a particular moment following a sharp emotional stimulation.
The analysis results are associated to the brief period immediately following the Snap tag.
Some examples include: a klaxon, the first interaction with a product, an unexpected death in a video game.

A Phase is a period where the emotional stimulation is continuous over an extended period of time. These periods are typically longer than 10 seconds.
The analysis results take into account the entire time the stimulus is occurring, or in other words, for the entire time the Phase is open.
For example: the period of makeup application, the length of a TV commercial, the time of chewing a morsel of a candy bar.
